BALTIMORE – Loyola University Maryland assistant women's lacrosse coach Dana Dobbie and Greyhounds alum Molly Wolf will each compete for a Women's Professional Lacrosse League select team in an exhibition against the United States national squad this Saturday in West Palm Beach, Fla.

The game will take place during the IWLCA President's Cup, an event which features 400 club teams from across the country gathering in Florida from Nov. 22-24. The exhibition is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. on Saturday at The International Polo Club. It will be played using trial rules developed by World Lacrosse to best position the sport for potential Olympic consideration.

"We are very excited to host the U.S. Women's National Team and the professional players from the WPLL at the IWLCA President's Cup Recruiting Tournament," said Kathy Taylor, president of the IWLCA and the head coach at Colgate. "It is our honor to be able to showcase the absolute highest level of women's lacrosse talent in the world and expose the nearly 10,000 young women participating in the tournament to the role models they aspire to emulate."

Dobbie and Wolf, a 2016 Loyola graduate, were part of a group of nine Greyhounds who played professionally in the WPLL this past summer. They were joined by Lindsey Ehrhardt '19, Katrina Geiger '18, Molly Hulseman '15, Bailey Mathis '17, Hannah Powers '19, Taryn VanThof '15 and Taylor VanThof '19. 

Dobbie was a team captain for the Baltimore Brave, who topped Ehrhardt and the New York Fight by a 13-12 final in the 2019 championship game, which was broadcast live on ESPNU at the United States Lacrosse headquarters.
