INDIANAPOLIS –
Donna M. Woodruff, Loyola University Maryland's assistant vice president and director of athletics has been appointed to a three-year term on the NCAA Division I Men's Lacrosse Committee, the national governing body announced today.
The national committee represents the membership and performs several duties, including the selection of teams to the NCAA Championships, administration of the tournament and other issues regarding the sport.
Woodruff is in her second year as the Greyhounds' athletic director after beginning her tenure in July 2017. She previously served as the Deputy Director of Athletics at Stony Brook University where she served on the NCAA Division I Recruiting and Athletics Personnel Cabinet for a four-year term that ended in July 2016.
The Greyhounds' lacrosse program is currently ranked sixth nationally with its next game on Saturday, March 23, at Bucknell University.
