Golden Dike has played for Real Madrid and the Spanish National Team.
BALTIMORE – Loyola University Maryland men's basketball has added a second member of the Spanish National Team program to its Class of 2023, as Golden Dike (pronounced DEE-kay) has signed a National Letter of Intent to play for the Greyhounds starting in the fall.

Dike, who plays for the Real Madrid EBA and U-18 teams, will join countryman Santi Aldama and Baltimore-area native Cam Spencer who signed NLIs during the fall.

"We are extremely excited to welcome Golden to the Loyola Maryland basketball family," said Head Coach Tavaras Hardy. "His versatility, strength and athleticism will positively impact our squad immediately. Golden has experience playing and winning at a high level internationally which we expect to directly lead to tremendous success here at Loyola."

A 6-foot-9 post player, Dike has helped Real Madrid win the last two national titles, earning Championship Game Most Valuable Player honors in the 2017 tilt. He has played for the Spanish National Teams at the age-group level since 2013.

At the FIBA U-18 European Championships, Dike shot 70 percent from the field while scoring more than 6 points and grabbing 3.3 rebounds per game for the Spanish National Team.
