BALTIMORE – Head coach
Megan Patrick announced on Wednesday the addition of Matt Hunt to Loyola University Maryland's men's rowing program for the 2020-21 season.
Hunt is a current senior at St. John's Preparatory School in Danvers, Massachusetts. He will join current teammate Ryan McShane, who committed to the program in March, at Loyola this fall.
A native of Salem, Massachusetts, Hunt served as coxswain for his school's first-ever four entry at the prestigious Head of the Charles regatta last fall. He is also active in the Best Buddies program at St. John's Prep.
Hunt brings Loyola's rowing program up to eight announced commits for the upcoming academic year. The future Greyhounds represent five different states, with four from Massachusetts and one each from Florida, New Hampshire, New York and Pennsylvania.
