PENNSAUKEN, N.J. – Loyola University Maryland's women's varsity 8 won the petite final Saturday at the Dad Vail Regatta as the Greyhounds had three boats compete in events during the second day of the competition.
 
The Greyhounds finished in 6:56.269 to beat Monmouth (7:00.697) and Bryant (7:26.115) in the race.
 
Loyola's men's varsity four took sixth in the race for the Ken Shaw Trophy, the grand final of the 2V4, rowing to a time of 7:11.122.
 
And, the men's varsity eight was third in its petite final, finishing in 5:55.089 to edge Deleware by less than two-tenths of a second (5:55.267).
