Loyola University Maryland men's golf will close its 2021-2022 fall schedule with a trip to the Hawaiian Islands where it will compete in the Ka'anapali Classic Collegiate, hosted by the University of Hawai'i. Starting on Friday, October 29, the Greyhounds will play a total of 54 holes, 18 each day, with the closing round on Sunday, October 31.
The Royal Ka'anapali Course will host the event that features teams that includes Air Force, Boise State, Colorado, Connecticut, Cal State Northridge, Denver, Gonzaga, Hawai'i, Kansas, Nevada, Sacramento State and Wyoming. The course is a 6,700-yard, par-71 layout that winds through the Ka'anapali resort area with views of the Pacific Ocean before crossing into the Maui foothills for part of the course.
Loyola is coming off a team victory at the Georgetown Intercollegiate in its last event. The Greyhounds dominated the field during the October 10-11 event, setting a tournament record of 834 and winning by 19 strokes.
