BALTIMORE – The Loyola University Maryland men's and women's lacrosse teams will host a combined 16 games at Ridley Athletic Complex during the upcoming 2023 schedule.
Regular-season home games start February 11 and run through the month of April. Tickets to Loyola lacrosse games will go on sale in coming weeks with holiday packages upcoming that will provide discounts on season tickets.
The men's team is the first to open the gates to Ridley for regular-season action when it hosts defending national champion Maryland on Saturday, February 11.
A week later, both teams will be in action against Charles Street rival Johns Hopkins with the annual doubleheader between the Greyhounds and Blue Jays taking place at Ridley on Saturday, February 18.
Women's lacrosse will host three national powers on consecutive Wednesdays with Penn (March 1), Georgetown (March 8) and Syracuse (March 15) visiting the Greyhounds home field.
On the road, the competition will not slow for the teams as the women face non-conference tests at Towson (February 22), Penn State (March 4), Florida (March 11) and Princeton (April 12).
Loyola's men have three road non-conference games, with games at Rutgers (February 25), Towson (March 1) and Duke (March 10).
Men's lacrosse is the first of the two Loyola teams to start Patriot League play with games against Lafayette and Holy Cross on Saturday, March 4, and Saturday, April 1, respectively.
Women's lacrosse plays its first three home conference games against Lehigh (March 18), American (March 29) and Holy Cross (April 1).
The teams' games against their foes from Holy Cross on Saturday, April 1, will be the second of three doubleheaders at Ridley Athletic Complex.
Men's lacrosse will see Navy visit Ridley for a Friday night game under the lights. The Greyhounds will host the Midshipmen on Friday, April 7, in a CBS Sports Network nationally-televised game.
Army West Point is next up for the women's lacrosse team at home on 15.
Georgetown then comes to Ridley for the men's team's final non-conference game of the year on Tuesday, April 18.
Loyola's men and women will host a final doubleheader on Saturday, April 22, with the women taking on Lafayette and the men hosting Colgate.
Both teams will have Patriot League matches on the road throughout the year with the women playing at Boston University (March 25), Colgate (April 8) and Bucknell (April 19); the men will play at Bucknell (March 18), Army West Point (March 25) and Boston University (April 15).
Each side will have a final Patriot League road game – both on April 28 – before postseason play begins; the women will be at Navy and the men at Lehigh.
The Patriot League Championships start April 30 on the women's side with the quarterfinals with the semifinals and championship game taking place on May 4 and 6. In the men's tournament, quarterfinal games will be May 2, and the semifinal and title contest are slated for May 5 and 7.
