PHILADELPHIA – Loyola University Maryland men's and women's rowing opened the 2022 spring schedule on Saturday, competing at the Jesuit Invitational.
The women's varsity eight had a strong performance during the competition, beating Patriot League foe College of the Holy Cross in a heat to finish fourth overall. The crew of

Jo Gosciniak – took fourth with a time of 6:45.6.
Loyola's men's second varsity eight was third in that race as

The second women's varsity eight –

The top varsity four boat for the women finished second in its heat and fifth overall as

Natalee Arthur finished in 8:52.8.
The second varsity four of

The Greyhounds will be back on the water Sunday in Northern Virginia where they will compete in the Occoquan Sprints.
