PHILADELPHIA – The Loyola University Maryland women's rowing team competed at the Murphy Cup on Saturday in Philadelphia.
Loyola's varsity eight – Megan Galucci,

Delaney Gibbons – took fifth in its heat and 15
th overall in 7:10.0.
The second varsity eight –

Maura Budd, Katelyne Krueger,
Grace Prince,
Katherine Convery,
Juliana Merlino,
Claire Volz,
Daniella Niedermeyer and coxswain
Sarah Hofstetter – was fourth in a heat and 11
th in the category with a time of 7:09.9.
The varsity four of
Kristine Jones,
Holly Hanscom,
Samantha Walsh,
Grace Gola and coxswain
Natalee Arthur crossed the line in 8:10.01 to finish fifth in its heat and 12
th overall.
Loyola's second varsity four –
Evy Ryan,
Lindsey Thompson,
Ashira Thompson,
Erin White and coxswain Gabrielle MacNeil – was fifth in its heat and eighth overall, finishing in 8:20.0.
The freshman/novice four –
Kylie Doyle,
Hope Johnson,
Paige Holley,
Diba Ramezan and coxswain
Kat An – was fourth in its heat and sixth in the preliminaries in 8:47.2. The Greyhounds came back to race in the afternoon's final and took sixth in 9:31.6.
