Alexander Joins Men’s Basketball’s Class of 2026

BALTIMORE – Isaiah Alexander, a product of Archbishop Stepinac High School, has signed a National Letter of Intent and will join the Loyola University Maryland men's basketball's Class of 2026.

Alexander played a big role in Archbishop Stepinac's title winning season as the Crusaders won the Catholic High School Athletic Association (CHSAA) AA title in 2021-22 with a 16-2 conference record.

"We are thrilled to officially welcome Isaiah to the Loyola University Maryland basketball family," said Greyhounds Head Coach Tavaras Hardy. "Isaiah adds an exciting combination of athleticism and skill to our forward position. He's a winner, extremely intelligent and will maximize his student-athlete experience on and off the court. Kudos to (Loyola Assistant) Coach Tiny Adams for an awesome evaluation. She trusted her eyes and did a great job building a relationship with Isaiah and his family."

Alexander averaged 12.5 points and 6.9 rebounds per game while Archbishop Stepinac went 26-4 during the regular-season. He was named to the All-CHSAA AA Second Team following his junior and senior campaigns at the White Plains, New York, school. Twice during the season, he was named the LoHud (Lower Hudson) Player of the Week, and he earned CHSAA Showcase Standout honors.

Prior to playing at Archbishop Stepinac from 2020-22, he played as a freshman and sophomore at Bethlehem (Pa.) Catholic High School.

Alexander played AAU basketball for Running Rebels and Team Rio, and he was invited to take part in the Wooten Top 150 Camp.

Off the court, he has been involved in several community service projects at Archbishop Stepinac, including the Special Olympics and mentoring programs. He received the Little Rock 9 Award and was a member of the academic honor roll at the school.

Alexander joins Deon Perry, Loyola's other NLI signee who joined the Class of 2026 in the fall. Perry earned Baltimore Sun All-Metro First Team honors and was named to the All-Baltimore Catholic League First Team for Our Lady of Mount Carmel High School.
