McNulty, Lindley Selected In PLL Draft

BALTIMORE – Two Loyola University Maryland men's lacrosse players who recently concluded their playing careers were picked in the Premier Lacrosse League's 2022 College Draft on Tuesday night as Ryan McNulty was selected in the third round and Kevin Lindley the fourth.
 
McNulty, a long-stick midfielder, was picked 17th overall by the PLL's Chrome, and the Chaos then took Lindley with the 32nd pick.
 
McNulty finished his Loyola career as a three-time All-Patriot League player and has to-date earned All-America honors in two separate years. He compiled of the best statistical lines for a Loyola defender, finishing fourth all-time in caused turnovers (84) and seventh in ground balls (238).
 
He also was a key transition player for the Greyhounds, scoring 13 goals and assisting on 15 for a total of 28 points as he leaves as the program's all-time leader in games played (74). He is second all-time at the school in ground balls by a player who did not regularly take faceoffs.
 
Lindley concluded his time at Loyola as one of the top goal scorers not only in school and Patriot League history, but also in the NCAA's all-time lists. His 196 goals set school and conference records and are currently eighth on the NCAA Division I all-time list.
 
The three-time All-Patriot League First Team honoree and to-date two-time All-American is the fourth player in school history to score 200 or more points finishing with 218 in a career that saw him post three or more goals 36 times.
