CHERRY HILL, N.J. – Loyola University Maryland women's rowing's varsity four was the Greyhounds' top finishing boat as the Greyhounds competed Friday at the Patriot League Championships on the Cooper River.
As a team, the Greyhounds were ninth with eight points overall as a team.
The men's rowing team was on the nearby Schuylkill River for the prestigious Dad Vails Regatta on Friday.

At the Dad Vails, Loyola's heavyweight four –

Frederich Lightner, Max Greer and coxswain Austin Kayanan – finished fourth in its heat in 6:29.098. In an afternoon heat, the group was second to Mercyhurst in 6:45.564, advancing to a semifinal on Saturday.
