BETHLEHEM, Pa. –
Lauren Link had 10 kills and 10 digs on Saturday for Loyola University Maryland volleyball, but host Lehigh University defeated the Greyhounds in three, 25-22, 25-23, 25-18.
The Greyhounds lost by three in the opening set, but they were tied at 23-23 in the second after a
Bryanne Soares service ace. Lehigh, however, scored the last two points of the set and went on to the win.
Morgan Crawford added nine kills for the Greyhounds, and
Kennedy Stevens had eight.
Kacy Sekunda tallied five kills and 20 assists, and
Rose McDermott had a team-best 13 digs.
The Greyhounds return to Reitz Arena next weekend for a pair of matches, hosting Army West Point on Friday at 7 p.m. and Colgate University at 4 p.m. on Saturday.
