BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Loyola University Maryland senior Lauren Link was named to the All-Patriot League Team for the second year in a row, the conference office announced Monday as a part of its postseason awards process.
 
Link garnered second-team honors this year after leading the Greyhounds in kills (275) and kills per set (3.27) through the end of the regular-season.
 
Loyola will start play in the Patriot League Championships on Tuesday night at 7 o'clock in Washington, D.C., with a quarterfinal-round match against American University.
 
This season, Link ranks fifth in the conference in kills per set, and she recorded 15 matches with 10 or more kills. She also is third on the team with 206 total digs, an average of 2.45 per set.
 
Link reached the 1,000-kill plateau in the final game of the regular season on Saturday at Holy Cross, her 78^th career match. She enters the Patriot League Championships averaging 3.68 kills per set, a mark that currently ranks No. 3 all-time at Loyola.
