WEST POINT, N.Y. – Army West Point took the doubles point and three singles matches to sweep the Loyola University Maryland men's tennis team on Sunday in a Patriot League match.
AJ Woodman and Thomas Lake captured the No. 1 doubles match, 6-2, against
Nick Haggar and
Nick Lawliss, and Nathan Jose paired with Jake Huarte to top
Matt Cardano and Oliver Duarte, 6-3, at No. 2. Jack Hanna and Daniel Zhou beat
Dylan Koziol and
Trevor Girandola, 6-2, in the third match.
Lake held off Davey, 6-0, 6-4, in No. 2 singles, and Zhou downed
Trevor Girandola, 6-1, 6-1, at No. 5. Huarte closed the match with a 6-2, 6-1 victory over Lawliss at No. 3.
