Baltimore, MD -- The Loyola Maryland women's basketball coaching staff will host an elite individual camps and team camps this summer on June 9 and 10.
The elite camp will be open to all high school aged individuals who are serious about continuing to play at the next level. The junior elite camp will be open to all middle and junior high school aged individuals who are looking to prepare for their high school careers, as well as future in collegiate athletics. The junior elite camp will be from 1 p.m to 3 p.m on June 9, while the elite camp will be from 4 p.m to 6 p.m later that day. The cost for both camps is $50.
Campers will receive individual instruction while learning what it takes to compete at the Division 1 level. Sessions will include skill development, agility drills, 3v3, full court competition, and NCAA information/resources. The elite camp will be a high energy learning experience, that will provide the opportunity to engage in highly personal interactions with Coach
Danielle O'Banion and her staff in Reitz Arena. Campers will be provided with basketball instruction, college level skill development, 1 on 1 time with coaches, campus tour, and a Greyhounds camps T-shirt.
The team camp will take place on June 10 from 9 a.m to 3 p.m. and will provide a unique and competitive environment to help teams grow and learn to compete. High school varsity, junior varsity and travel teams are all welcome to participate. The cost for the team camp is $150 per team.
Each team will be guaranteed multiple games, and there will also be a
Nerves of Steel Tournament that will consist of three one-minute games for teams to practice their end-of-game scenarios with collegiate rules. Team discounts will be available for programs bringing multiple teams to the camp.
