PHOENIX, Md. – Mike Crowley carded five birdies and six pars in his final 11 holes on Sunday, and the Loyola University Maryland junior finished second individually at the Patriot League Championships.
 
Crowley shot 1-under 71 on Sunday and 4-over for the tournament to finish three strokes back of Lehigh University's Daniel Song.
 
The Greyhounds shot the day's low round on Sunday – a day that was broken up by a three-plus hour rain delay after players had finished no more than two hours – totaling 293 to finish third overall. Lehigh won at 30-over for three rounds, followed by Colgate at 36-plus and the Greyhounds at 38-over.
 
Crowley doubled the par-3 11^th hole, his seventh of the day and was 4-over on Sunday. He would turn it around quickly, birding his next three holes to get to 1-over for the day. He then parred the last four holes of the back nine, as well as the first and second of the course. He then birdied three and four to finish at 1-under overall.
 
Matt Malits shot an even-par 72 on Sunday and finished at 12-over as the Greyhounds' No. 2 finisher in a tie for sixth overall.
 
Crowley was named to the All-Patriot League First Team, while Malits earned All-League Second Team for the second year in row.
 
Gustavo Rangel tied for 12^th at 14-over par. Carlo Pizzano shot 4-over on Sunday and tied for 29^th, while James Rico tied for 33^rd.
