BALTIMORE – Loyola University Maryland men's basketball will start its 2023-24 season with a trip to face the University of Florida in the first of 13 non-conference games that precede the Greyhounds' 18-game Patriot League calendar.
 
Loyola will face the Gators on November 6 in Gainesville, Florida, to open the regular season after playing a home exhibition game on October 29 against McDaniel.
 
The Greyhounds travel to play at Brown on November 11 before making their regular-season home debut on November 15 versus Binghamton.
 
Three days later, the Greyhounds start a multi-team event in Catonsville, Maryland, against UMBC where they will face Sacred Heart on November 18, followed by a game against the host Retrievers on November 19.
 
The next two games will be road contests, as well, as Loyola will play at Missouri on November 25 before heading to New York City for a November 29 date at Columbia.
 
Loyola returns to Reitz Arena on December 2 for the first of two home games on consecutive Saturdays, starting with a contest against Delaware State. The Greyhounds then meet Mount St. Mary's on December 9 in the annual game between the two Maryland Catholic schools. Sandwiched between the Saturday home games is one of two outings the Greyhounds will have in Philadelphia, a December 6 game against La Salle.
 
The Greyhounds play at George Mason on December 16 before hosting a final their final non-conference home game on December 22 against St. Mary's of Maryland. The out of league play concludes after the holiday with a December 29 game at St. Joseph's.
 
Loyola's 11^th season in the Patriot League starts on January 2 at Colgate. Conference teams play a double round-robin format with each hosting the other once during the season.
 
Reitz Arena will be the site of nine Patriot League men's basketball games during the year: Lehigh (January 6), Boston University (January 13), American (January 15), Lafayette (January 24), Holy Cross (February 3), Colgate (February 10), Navy (February 21), Bucknell (February 28) and Army West Point (March 2).
 
Patriot League Championships action will start in the days following the conclusion of the regular season.
