BALTIMORE – Loyola University Maryland pushed host Colgate University to extra points in the first set, but the Raiders held on in the opening frame and took a three-set Patriot League victory, 28-26, 25-15, 25-16.

- The Raiders built a 14-8 lead with an ace by Libby Overmyer, but Loyola scored the next three to get within a trio of points.
- Colgate kept the lead at two or more for the next several points until a Lauren Link kill cut the Greyhounds' deficit to 22-21.
- Abby Shadwick had a sideout kill to give Colgate set point, 24-22, but Morgan Crawford and Leah Hunter had kills to tie the score for Loyola.
- Colgate sided out with a service error by the Greyhounds, but Morgan Crawford came back to sideout with a kill.
- Carlie Rzeszotarski responded in kind for the Raiders, but Kennedy Stevens tied it at 26-26 with a kill for the Greyhounds.
- Rzeszotarski and Shadwick, however, had kills for Colgate to take the set win.
- Set Two
- After Loyola had 20 kills in the first set, it had only eight in the second as Colgate pulled away for the win.
- Set Three
- The Raiders closed with a .321 hitting percentage to take the final set.
Stat Pack
- Link and Crawford led Loyola with eight kills each, while Stevens had seven.
- Leah Hunter posted a team-best 10 digs, and Caitlin Churney had a team-high four blocks.
