QUEENS, N.Y. – Loyola University Maryland volleyball had 45 kills to Siena College's 19 on Friday afternoon, and the Greyhounds closed out a 25-15, 25-8, 25-18 sweep to finish the first day of the Jack Kaiser Volleyball Classic with a 2-0 record.
Earlier in the day, the Greyhounds (5-4 overall) beat Stony Brook in four.
Loyola hit .402 in the day's second match to the Saints' -.012.
Set Breakdown

- Loyola took an 11-6 lead on a Riley Hamilton kill, and the Greyhounds led by at least four the rest of the set.
- Set Two
- Siena had just two kills and hit -.226 in the second while Loyola had 12 kills with only one error in the frame.
- Set Three
- The Saints drew to within three, 20-17, but Loyola scored five of the last six points to finish the match in three.
