BALTIMORE – Five Loyola University Maryland women's tennis players had undefeated weekends in singles play, while Jessica Bodewes and Emma Roeck teamed for a pair of doubles wins, as the Greyhounds hosted hidden dual action at the McClure Invitational.
 
Bodewes and Roeck scored a pair of wins against teams from Patriot League schools, winning a three-set match against Bucknell's Whitney King and Abby Platt on Friday before taking down Lafayette's Carmen Merkel and Marie Romenellio in straight sets on Saturday.
 
Elena Hartley and Jocelyn Assael also scored a straight-sets win over Lafayette's Ally Baur and Stella Dodd in doubles play.
 
Christine Richiez and Elena Hartley both won two singles matches across the three days, while Roeck, Mia Matriccino and Emi Shivkumar were winners in their respective singles matches.
 
Richiez had wins against Mirra Manolov of Bucknell and the Leopards' Hanna Ganchi, while Hartley scored wins over the Bison's Caroline Marcus and Towson's Ashira Murray.
 
Lauren Manwiller was a winner against Natalie Devraj of Bucknell,a nd Matriccino took down Lafayette's Ally Waldman. Shivkumar and Lily Langhus both won straight-set singles matches against Layla Drotzer and Ally Vollero of Lafayette, while Roeck topped Towson's Aubrey Carper in five sets.
