GREENSBORO, N.C. – A pair of Loyola University Maryland men's swimming and diving relay teams raced Thursday on the first day of the 2024 Toyota U.S. Open Championships, finishing second and third in the 200 medley relay.

Patrick Hayburn and
Brennan Coyle took second in the race, swimming 1:27.54 to finish only behind Purdue's 1:26.69.
JD Moyer,
Michael Gozdan,
Hans van Lierop and
Henry Mueller were just over a half-second back for third place in 1:28.07.
A large contingent of Greyhounds – 16 in total – will compete Thursday, Friday and Saturday at the meet which is being held at the Greensboro Aquatic Center.
