SWARTHMORE, Pa. – Loyola University Maryland women's tennis won the doubles point and four singles matches on Saturday as the Greyhounds scored a 5-2 victory over host Swarthmore College.
 
Anna Rico and Emi Shivkumar paired at No. 3 doubles for a 6-4 win over the Garnet's Spencer Watts and Oviya Kumaran, but Swarthmore evened doubles with a 6-4 by Nathalie Williams and Eda Mjekaj at No. 1 over Christine Richiez and Jocelyn Assael.
 
Olivia Tracey and Liza Tankimovich, however, came back with a 7-5 decision at No. 2 doubles over Kathleen Shiffer and Lola Diaz to tally the point for the Greyhounds.
 
Richiez opened singles with a straight-set win over Shiffer, 6-3, 6-1, at No. 2, but Williams picked up Swarthmore's first point with a 7-6 (5), 6-0, win against Tracey at No. 1.
 
Tankimovich got past Diaz, 6-4, 7-6 (8), at No. 3 singles, and Lily Langhus clinched the team match for Loyola with a point at No. 5 where she beat Kumaran, 6-0, 6-4.
 
Jenny Lewis scored for the Garnet at No. 4, edging Shivkumar, 6-4, 7-6 (2), and Rico rounded out the lineup at No. 6 with a 6-2, 6-1 win for Loyola over Ella Strickler.
