Loyola Basketball Teams Announce Patriot League Schedules

BALTIMORE – The Patriot League announced the 18-game conference slates for its men's and women's basketball teams this week, giving both Loyola University Maryland squads their full list of 29 games each.

Earlier this summer, Loyola announced the 2024-25 men's and women's non-conference schedules. Season ticket information will be available in coming days on LoyolaGreyhounds.com.

The Greyhounds men's and women's teams will both open League play on January 2, 2025, when the women host Holy Cross in Reitz Arena and the men travel to Worcester, Massachusetts.

Loyola's men and women switch home and road designations for their next game with the men hosting Lehigh on January 5 and the women heading to Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

Army West Point is next up with the women at home on January 8 and the men on the road, and then men then host Navy January 11 with the Greyhounds women heading to Annapolis, Maryland, to face the Midshipmen.

Loyola will host a basketball doubleheader in Reitz Arena on Monday, January 13. American comes to the Evergreen campus on the day that Loyola students resume classes for the spring semester.

The Lehigh women will visit Baltimore to play Loyola on January 18, and Loyola's men will be on the road to complete that season series. The Greyhounds men then host Lafayette and Holy Cross on January 22 and 25, dates the Loyola women will be at their respective counterparts.

The first half of conference play finishes on January 29 when the Loyola men go to Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, to face Bucknell, and the women host the Bison. The Greyhounds then play teams from Boston University on February 1 with the men hosting the Terriers and the women going to New England for their game.

Patriot League women's teams will have a midweek bye following that game, a date on which the Greyhounds men host Lafayette on February 5.

The women resume games on February 8 with a home game versus Colgate, and the men go to Hamilton, New York, to face the Raiders that day.

Loyola teams take on Army West Point on February 12 with the women playing in the Hudson Valley and the men in Baltimore. The Greyhounds return to doubleheader action on February 15 with a pair of games at American in Washington, D.C.

Boston University comes to Reitz Arena for a women's game on February 19, and the Terriers men host Loyola that date, as well. February 22 brings the Colgate men to Reitz Arena with the women heading up to New York State for a game.

Bucknell will be the men's team's penultimate regular-season game on February 26 as the Greyhounds host the Bison; the Loyola women will be in Lewisburg that day.

Loyola's men then close the regular season at Navy on March 1 with a road game while the women host the Midshipmen.

The Greyhounds women close the regular season on March 5 with a home game against Lafayette.

The Patriot League Championships will start on March 4 for the men and close with a March 12 Championship Game. The Women's Championships commence March 8 with the first round and close March 16 with the title game.

The schedule is subject to change, and times will be updated on LoyolaGreyhounds.com when they are announced.
