INDIANAPOLIS – Three members of the Loyola University Maryland athletic department were recently named to a trio of national committees through the NCAA and will represent the Greyhounds, the Patriot League and their national peers throughout the year at various meetings and events.
Head Women's Lacrosse Coach
Jen Adams has joined the NCAA Division I Women's Lacrosse Oversight Committee, a group that will govern the rules for conduct of athletics personnel, playing and practice seasons, recruiting (with Administrative Committee review), and authority over Division I playing rules and championship administration.

th year as the Greyhounds' head coach, Adams has previously served as a member of the NCAA Women's Lacrosse Rules Committee while guiding Loyola to a 239-84 record since 2009.
Cass Garcia, a senior with the women's rowing team, was named the Patriot League's representative to the NCAA Division I Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). The Division I Student-Athlete Advisory Committee represents the voice of over 190,000 Division I student-athletes.
Troy Cicero, Jr., a men's basketball student-athlete at Loyola, was named the Patriot League's member of the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Student-Athlete Engagement Group. Cicero, a junior at Loyola, and the group are charged with gathering broad-based feedback from basketball student-athletes on issues the oversight committees are reviewing, including but not limited to, transfer, recruiting, name, image and likeness, gender equity, social justice issues, and championship experiences.
