Bethlehem, PA -- The Patriot League announced their 11-person Academic All-League team on Wednesday afternoon, as Loyola University Maryland's Riley Kennel was named to the team. 

Kennel, a Third Team All-Patriot League team selection, started in all 18 games this season and ranked second on the team in points (6) while scoring two goals and two assists on the season. Kennel also ranked third on the team in minutes played 1,482 as she helped anchor the Greyhounds back line that allowed the third fewest goals in the Patriot League this season. 

Off the field, Kennel graduated with her degree in marketing in the spring, carrying a 3.87 GPA  in undergrad and is now working on her MBA at Loyola. She was named to the Mu Kappa Tau, which is a national honors society.
