UNVIERSITY PARK, Pa. – Three Loyola University Maryland runners competed Friday at the Penn State National Open for the women's track and field team.
 
Lauryn Clarke ran the fifth-fastest 60-meter time in school history, turning in a performance of 7.63 seconds to finish 11
th in the opening round.
 
Nelly Cruz was 34
th in the 60-meter hurdles in 9.47, and 
Kiera Udell was 52
nd overall in the mile, running 5:06.10.
 
The Greyhound will continue competition at the event on Saturday while other members of the team will run at the Patriot Games hosted by George Mason University.
