Annapolis --
Lily Mead set a school record in the 100 Yard Breaststroke on Saturday night, as the Loyola University Maryland men's and womenm's swimming and diving teams concluded night two of the ECAC Championships.
Mead swam a time of 1:00.85 in the finals for the school record, as she finished in third place, just :00.20 seconds off of the first place finisher.
The women's 200 Yard Medley Relay of
Maeve Brandenburg,
Hannah Oslislo,
Brayden Bowen, and
Emily Colyar finished with fifth place with a finals time of 1:45.10.
The men's 200 Yard Medley Relay team of
Tyler Knurek,
Elias Corn,
Dylan Covington, and
Liam Schindler finished in second place with a finals time of 1:29.52.
Matthew Hughes and Flloyd Conlin finished in third and fourth place respectively in the 400 Yard IM with times of 3:55.84 and 4:00.72.
Josh Stegner and Matthew Gray scored also, finishing in seventh and eighth place respectively with times of 4:04.79 and 4:04.80.
Patrick Boyle finished in 10th with a time of 4:09.18.
Maeve Brandenburg finished in ninth place of the 100 Yard Butterfly with a time of 55.65, as
Brayden Bowen finished in 15th (56.90).
Tyler Knurek earned points for the Greyhounds in the 100 Yard Butterfly, with a 49.03 finals time.
Gabby Jones (1:52.55) and
Emily Colyar (1:53.41) finished in 10th and 12th place respectively in the 200 Yard Freestyle.
Liam Schindler (1:40.25) finished in eighth place in the 200 Yard Freestyle, as Perre Leroy (1:39.96) and
Jonah Goodman (1:40.48) finished in 14th and 16th respectively.
Elias Corn earned a 11th placed finish in the 100 Yard Breaststroke with a time of 55.45.
Maeve Brandenburg finished with a time of 57.28 in the 100 Yard Backstroke for a 14th place finish.
Tyler Knurek earned points for Loyola in the 100 Yard Backstroke, finishing with a time of 49.71, as
Tie Manuel (51.05) and
Sam Voss (51.16) finished in 15th and 16th place.
In the 800 Yard Freestyle Relay, the women's team of
Adrianna Caponiti, Gianna MOscetti,
Maeve Brandenburg, and Madison Testa finished in fourth with a time of 7:46.68.
The men's 800 Yard Freestyle Relay team of
Tyler Knurek,
Jonah Goodman, Pierre Leroy, and
Floyd Conlin finished in fourth place with a time of 6:45.81.
The ECAC Championships will conclude on Sunday at the U.S. Naval Academy.
