BALTIMORE – Loyola University Maryland women's rowing hosted crews from George Mason and Monmouth on the Patapsco River Saturday morning.
The Greyhounds finished second to Monmouth in all four races.
Loyola's 1V8 finished in 7:18.1, less than six seconds off of the Hawks' winning team and more than 10 seconds ahead of George Mason.
The 2V8 held off the Patriots for second, finishing in 8:01.1 to George Mason's 8:04.5. Monmouth won the race in 7:28.1.
Loyola had comfortable margins for second in both the 1V4 and 2V4 races.
The Greyhounds' 1V4 crossed the line in 8:48.5 ahead of the Patriots' 9:04.4; Monmouth took first in that race, as well, finishing in 8:30.6.
The 2V4 finished in 8:49.7, 15 seconds back of the Hawks and 16 ticks in front of George Mason.
