BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Loyola University Maryland's
Carson Hall was named the Patriot League Faceoff Specialist of the Week on Monday after the Greyhounds played a pair of games last week.
Hall finished the week with games against Georgetown and Bucknell winning 68.9 percent of faceoffs he took, going 20 of 29 overall at the X.
He tied his career-high with nine ground balls on Tuesday night versus the Hoyas, winning 14 of 17 overall. Hall then finished the Bucknell game by going 6 of 12 to help Loyola go 19 of 29.
This season, Hall has won 55.1 percent of faceoffs he has taken (86 of 156).
Overall last week, the Greyhounds were 35 of 53 (.660) facing off against the Hoyas and Bison.
Mason Graves went 15 of 24 (.625), led by a 13 of performance in the win over Bucknell.
Loyola will be back in action on Saturday, March 28, with a 1 p.m. game at College of the Holy Cross.
