BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Max Watkinson was named the Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Week for the third time this season on Monday following a 16-save performance in the regular-season finale Friday night.
 
The senior from Baltimore helped the Greyhounds seal a share of the Patriot League regular-season title with a victory at Navy, making 10 of his 16 saves in the second half against the Midshipmen.
 
With the Greyhounds' leading 13-12, Watkinson stopped a Mac Haley shot from inside 10 yards with less than 10 seconds left in regulation, and Loyola's defense completed the stop to preserve the victory.
 
Watkinson and the Greyhounds enter the Patriot League Championships as the No. 2 seed with a first-round bye. They will play Boston University, Bucknell or Colgate in a semifinal game on Friday, May 1, at 7:30 p.m. in West Point, New York.
