Bethlehem, PA -- The Patriot League announced their weekly Player of the Week awards on Monday afternoon, as Loyola University Maryland had three players honored. 

Reagan Mallia was named Midfielder of the Week, Geneve Pouliot was named Defensive Player of the Week, and Hannah Goetzer was named Goalkeeper of the Week, after the Greyhounds went 0-0-2 over their first two games in a pair of 1-1 finishes, including a tie against No. 10 Arkansas, which is the programs highest ranked result in program history. 

Mallia scored the game-tying goal against Arkansas, as she scored off of a olimpico - a direct shot on goal from a corner kick - that tied the game midway through the second half. She played a key role in the midfield throughout both games, and helped secure the tie against Arkansas. 

Pouliot played in all 180 minutes over the two games for the Greyhounds, helping hold opponents to just one open play goal. She helped slow the Arkansas attack to just five shots on goal in the game and holding them to no open play goals. She also helped anchor Loyola to allow just seven shots to William and Mary in the opener. 

Goetzer shined in goal over the first two games, posting eight saves and a .800 save percentage. She had a spectacular kick save to keep the game tied against William and Mary, and followed it up with a great performance against Arkansas, grabbing four saves in the second half, including two over the last twenty minutes. 

Loyola continues non-conference action on Thursday, as they travel to face Princeton.
