2023 (Senior): Played in all 17 games as a member of the Greyhounds’ short-stick unit… Finished with four ground balls and three caused turnovers… Scored a goal at Navy in the Patriot League Quarterfinal win.

2022 (Junior): Played in 11 games on the Greyhounds rope unit… Had a ground ball against Towson and one versus Bucknell… Named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

2021 (Sophomore): Saw action in 12 games on the Greyhounds unit as one of the team’s primary short-stick defensive midfielders… Had an assist and two ground balls against Utah… Scored a goal at Lafayette and then assisted on another versus Georgetown… Picked up two ground balls against Navy in the Patriot League Quarterfinal… Member of the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

2020 (Freshman): Played in two games, making his Loyola debut against Towson... Named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

Before Loyola: Graduated from Archbishop Spalding High School in Severn, Maryland, where he was a four-year letterwinner in lacrosse and a two-year starter in football… Scored 72 goals and had 31 assists during his high school lacrosse career… Team captain for the Cavaliers and was a finalist for the C. Markland Kelly Award as the top boys lacrosse player in Maryland after his senior in 2019… Wore Spalding’s No. 7 in honor of Andy Eser, an honor voted on by his peers and coaches… Scored 28 goals and had 10 assists in 2019 as a senior after tallying 21 and 12 in 2018… Helped the football team finish as the Maryland Interscholashic Athletic Association’s A Conference runner-up for two years a starting slot receiver… Played club for the Annapolis Hawks.

 
Personal: Son of Beth and Dave Sherwood… Has two older siblings, Abbey and Max… Father, Dave, was a four-year player at Loyola, graduating from the school in 1987… He scored 76 goals and had 47 assists over his career, including tallying a career-best 23 goals as a senior… His grandfather, Marshall Love, also played lacrosse at Loyola… Volunteered more than 60 hours to charity organizations while in high school.
