Biography

2017 (Junior): Continued to be one of the top short-stick defensive midfielders in the country… Earned All-Patriot League Second Team honors as a defensive midfielder (conference honors one long- or short-stick on both first and second teams)… Named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll… Had career-highs in all statistical categories with 32 ground balls, nine caused turnovers, seven goals and eight points… Opened the year with a pair of goals and two ground balls against Virginia (2/11)… Picked up four ground balls against Johns Hopkins (2/18)… Scored in transition and had two ground balls at Lafayette (3/25)… Matched his career-best with two goals at Towson (3/1) and also had two ground balls and a caused turnovers… Scored a goal and had an assist to go with three ground balls versus Holy Cross (3/4)… Scored against Navy (3/18)… Had two caused turnovers, matching his career-high, against Georgetown (3/22)… Picked up three ground balls against Lehigh (4/8) and caused a Mountain Hawks turnover… Set a career-high with three ground balls against Army West Point (4/30) in the Patriot League Championship Game… Part of the defensive midfield that did not allow a goal to Ohio State’s offensive midfield in the NCAA First Round (5/14).

2016 (Sophomore): Was the Greyhounds’ top short-stick defensive midfielder and played in 17 games, missing the Boston University (4/16) contest with an injury… Finished the year with 32 ground balls... Showed excellent marking ability in the half-field and was key to Loyola’s clearing game… Had a pair of ground balls and a caused turnover in the season-opener at Virginia (2/13)… Posted three ground balls and a caused turnover against Lafayette (2/27)… Later picked up three ground balls at Georgetown (3/23) and then had four in a snow-filled contest at Colgate (4/3)… Posted a career-high five ground balls against Lehigh (4/9)… Recorded two ground balls and caused a turnover in the NCAA First Round against Duke (5/14) and then had two ground balls in the NCAA Quarterfinal win over Towson (5/22).

2015 (Freshman): Named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll... Played in all 15 games during his first season at Loyola on the Greyhounds' second midfield and as a short-stick defender... Ended the year as the team's top short-stick... Made the transition to playing primarily defensive midfield in mid-March because of his consistency as a defender... Finished the year with two goals and two assists while picking up 19 ground balls... Had a pair of ground balls at Towson (2/18) and then tallied his first career point, an assist, against Holy Cross (2/21)... Posted a goal and an assist with three ground balls versus Georgetown (3/18)... Scored once in transition and had three ground balls against Navy (4/4)... Picked up three ground balls at Maryland (4/8).

Before Loyola: Was a four-year lacrosse and ice hockey player at Morristown (New Jersey) High School… Finished his lacrosse career with 100 goals and 66 assists… Scored 32 goals and added 22 assists as a senior in 2014, earning All-America, Waterman Conference Most Valuable Player, All-Waterman Conference, All-Morris County, All-Area and All-State Group 3 First Team honors… Also received MSG Varsity All-State honors… As a junior, also earend All-State Group 3 and All-Waterman honors… Scored 52 goals and assisted on 20 as a sophomore en route to team most valuable player honors and All-Area, All-State Group 3 and All-Waterman honors…. Finished his high school career as a four-time All-Waterman Conference First Team member and three-time All-State Group 3 performer… Tallied 21 goals and 13 assists as a freshman… Helped Morristown to the Group 3 state finals in lacrosse as a sophomore and senior… On the ice, he was an All-Public Schools B First Team player as a senior and a two-time All-Area player… Helped his hockey team win the Public B state title as a senior after helping them to the final as a sophomore and junior… Played club lacrosse for Patriot Lacrosse and earned NSCLA All-America honors and Maverick Showtime All-Star honors… Was an All-Star at the Battle of the Hotbeds on two occasions.

Personal: Was a lector at Church of Christ the King, a community soup kitchen volunteer and member of a Habitat for Humanity group… His mother, Kerry, was a collegiate swimmer at the University of Georgia… Born in Philadelphia.
