Volleyball Falls to Marist, 3-0

Poughkeepsie, N.Y. - The Loyola College volleyball team fell to Marist, 3-0 Saturday in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference action at the McCann Center. The Red Foxes earned the win with scores of 30-27, 30-21 and 30-24. The Greyhounds fall to 6-20 on the season and 4-7 in conference play. Marist improves to 7-14 overall and 5-7 in the conference.

Senior Blair Snyder led the team with 11 kills and 10 digs. Freshman Nicole Scimeme and sophomore Rachel Schillinger each added nine kills. Scimeme also recorded a team-high 12 digs while classmate Chrissey Cruz recorded 32 assists.

Marist was led by Jaime Kenworthy with 16 kills and 10 digs. Alexandra Schultze added 11 kills and a game-high 16 digs. Sally Hanson added 11 kills whie Dawn Jan tallied 43 assists.

The Greyhounds remain on the road as they travel to Siena on Sunday, October 22.
