New York, N.Y. - Senior Andrea Rovegno concluded her collegiate career with a MAAC title and a runner-up finish to lead the Greyhounds at the MAAC Championships on Friday night at the New York Armory. Manhattan won the team title as Loyola finished fifth overall.

"It was an up and down day for us," said Head Coach Brett Harvey. "I was very happy for Andrea [Rovegno] - who finished her senior year with a bang."

Rovegno won the Mile race with a time of 5:02.49. She followed that up with a runner-up finish in the 3,000-meters, posting a time of 10:15.31. Junior Maureen Wynne took ninth in the 3,000 with a time of 10:53.05, while freshman Kate Cervo finished 10th in 11:02.22.

Wynne also set a school record in the 5,000-meter race with a time of 18:11.86. She picked up eight team points in the race with a second-place finish, crossing the finish line in 18:11.86.

While freshmen Angeline Diamond (200) and Lindsay Wilson (Mile) finished Top-10 in their respective events, it was in the field events that the Greyhounds would get the rest of their points.

Melanie Mitchell and Kim Amaducci each took fifth-place points in their events, with Mitchell putting a distance of 11.18m in the shot put and Amaducci clearing a height of 1.50m in the high jump. On the track, Mitchell also ran a personal best in the 400 with a time of 1:03.35.
