BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Loyola University Maryland's Gabby Snowden was named the Patriot League Rookie of the Week on Tuesday after her regular-season closing performance at the Navy National Elite meet.
 
Snowden ran a personal-best time of 24.64 seconds in the 200 meters to finish fourth in the race.
 
The time also ranks as the sixth-fastest in Loyola history and makes her the third-fastest woman to run in the event for the Greyhounds.
 
Snowden and the Greyhounds will compete this weekend at the Patriot League Championships that will be held at the U.S. Naval Academy starting on Friday, May 15.
