Women's Track Competes At Morgan

Baltimore, Md. - The Loyola women's track team ran a handful of athletes at the Morgan State Legacy meet on Saturday. The Greyhounds posted results in the field and middle distance events to highlight their efforts.

Kim Amaducci took sixth in the high jump, clearing 5-1 to give the Greyhounds team points. Melanie Mitchell registered a distance of 15-6 to lead Loyola in the long jump.

On the track, the Greyhounds received a personal best performance from Courtney McNamara in the 800m. McNamara ran a 2:23.18 en route to a 10th-place finish in the event, while Bethany Gentry took eighth in the 5,000m in 21:25.58.

The Greyhounds will take a full squad to the Lions Invitational this Saturday at the College of New Jersey.
