Senna Ohlsson became the first Greyhounds student-athlete to compete at a USATF Championships event on Saturday, running in the 800 meters at the national U20 Championships.
Ohlsson finished third in her heat and was 10th overall with a time of 2:09.02, the No. 6 time in Loyola history.
She split 1:03.16 in the opening quarter-mile before going 1:05.86 in the final 400.
Ohlsson's U20 meet culminates a year in which she won the 800 at both the Patriot League Indoor and Outdoor Championships, earning All-Patriot League First Team and Academic All-Patriot League honors in both.
