BALTIMORE – The Loyola University Maryland men's and women's swimming and diving teams both earned Scholar All-America Team honors from the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) on Tuesday with both squads ranking in the top-30 nationally of NCAA Division I teams in combined grade-point averages.
 
The women's team compiled a 3.61 GPA during the spring semester to rank 30^th in the nation; the Loyola men had a 3.42 mark during the term, good for 18^th.
 
Last week, the teams led their respective Patriot League counterparts by placing the most men and women on the conference's Academic Honor Roll.
