BALTIMORE – Israeli National Team member Maya Dudockin has signed a national letter of intent and will join the Loyola University Maryland volleyball Class of 2025.
Dudockin, a middle blocker, has played with her country's Junior National Team since 2015 and the Senior squad since 2016.
She participated in the European Championship qualifying for the junior national team from 2015-2018, and she then was a member of the senior national team for its European Championship qualifying from 2017-2019.
Dudockin also competed with the senior side in 2016 World Championship qualifying, and she has seen action in the United States in 2017 and 2018 at the AAU Championships in Orlando with the Israeli Junior National Team.
The native of Kefar Masaryk, a kibbutz in northern Israel, joined the Israeli Volleyball Academy in 2014 and lived at a boarding school, Hof HaSharon High School, for five years. She also has played for Maccabi Haifa on the club circuit in Israel.
Dudockin joined the Israeli Defense Forces in 2019 and is scheduled to complete her conscription in the summer of 2021.
She joins the duo of Sophie Brenner (West Chester, Pa./Unionville H.S.) and Kacy Sekunda (State College, Pa./State College H.S.) who signed NLIs last month with Loyola.
