Alija Pittenger has brought the program to a formidable place in the Patriot League. The 2018 Patriot League Coach of the Year has led Loyola to the last two Patriot League Tournaments through building a culture that enables players to strive for, and reach, their goals both on and off the court.
In this week's Coach's Corner presented by Butterball, Pittenger talks about being a volleyball lifer as the daughter of parents who met playing volleyball. She reached three NCAA Tournaments as a player at the University of Michigan, and she took her love for them game into coaching where she has been successful along the way.
