Courtney Kenny won the 400 meters Saturday, leading the Loyola University Maryland women's track and field team's contingent at the final day of the 2021 Towson Invitational.

Kenny finished the race in 57.89 seconds, edging Towson's Satori Valentine who was three-hudredths of a second behind to finish second.
Stephanie Tracy also scored a top-10 finish in the race, finishing seventh in 58.62.

Kathleen Shepherd ran the second-fastest 100-meter hurdles time in school history and was 10
th overall. Her time of 15.07 (wind +0.8) is second only to
Gillian Blackwood's 15.02 in 2019. It also comes on the heels of Shepherd running what is now the No. 3 tie at Loyola, 15.25, last weekend at Navy.

Jordyn Pugh were 11
th (2:19.07) and 12
th (2:19.47) in the 800 meters, while
Grayce Heinemann was 15
th in 2:19.88.

Loyola's 4x400-meter relay team – Tracy, Kenny, Spinnler and
Olivia Malley – finished sixth with a time of 4:01.24.
