LEWISBURG, Pa. – Bucknell University rallied from a late first-set deficit on Friday night to win the opening game, and the Bison pulled away for a 27-25, 25-13, 25-18 victory over Loyola University Maryland.

Kennedy Stevens kill gave the Greyhounds a 25-24 lead for set-point in the first, but Bucknell came back to tie at 25-25 and take a lead a point later with a Libby Nierporte-Riley Tucker block.
Bucknell then put the set away after a Loyola attack miscue.
The Bison did not trail for the remainder of the match and went on to the Patriot League win.
Lauren Link led the Greyhounds with 12 kills, putting up a double-double with 11 digs.
Rose McDermott added a team-best 15 digs.
Caitlin Chruney had seven kills for Loyola, and
Bryanne Soares tallied 20 assists.
Loyola is back in action on Saturday afternoon with a 4:30 p.m. match at Lehigh University.
