Baltimore -- The Loyola University Maryland women's soccer team has announced that five class of 2024 recruits have signed their letter of intent during the NCAA's early signing period.

Renee Wanzor •  Defender  •  Jackson, NJ  •  Jackson Memorial

Before Loyola: Attended Jackson Memorial High School where she was a four year starter ... Led the team in goals her senior and junior season, scoring 15 and 14 goals in respective years ... Earned First Team All Conference Accolades her senior year ... Was named to the 2023 NJ.com All State Watch list during her senior season ... Played club soccer for PDA Blue 06 Wolves, where she was a member of the ECNL National Champion team in 2018-19, as well as a member of the ECNL North Atlantic Division U17 Champions this past season. 

Personal: Daughter of Jennifer and Frank Wanzor... Three siblings; Samantha, Allison, and Jessica ... All three siblings played collegiate soccer, with sister Jessica currently playing at Bloomsburg ... Father played collegiate soccer at Wilkes University ... Is a member of the National Honor Society.

Was a member of the Lions Football Club, where she was a NPLW Champion in 2021 and 2022 ... Member of the NPLW premiership winners.

Before Loyola: Attended Leesvile Road High School ... Also ran track and field in high school, where she was a sprint and hurdle conference champion, as well as a state qualifier ... Played club soccer for NC Courage Academy for the past five seasons, where she was a member of the 2023 Round of 16 Qualifying team, and NCFC Shield Award winner. 

Personal: Daughter of Anthony and Carla Carter ... Two siblings, Jordan and Alexis ... Member of the National Honor Society, National English Honor Society, National Achiever Society.

Before Loyola: Attended Edgewood High school, where she was a three-year varsity captain ... Was named the team MVP in her sophomore, junior and senior seasons ... Named to the UCBAC All Division, Aegis All County, and was Top 10 Scorers in Harford County during her senior season ... Played club soccer for Pipeline SC ECNL. 

Personal: Daughter of Cullen and Mary ... One sibling, Najee ... Member of the National Honors Society. 

Simone Hargrove •  Goalkeeper  •  Takoma Park, MD.  •  Montgomery Blair

Before Loyola: Attended Montgomery Blair, where she was on varsity for all four years, including being named captain during her junior and senior seasons ... Member of the team that made it to the state semifinals for consecutive years, as well as a member of the regional championship team in consecutive years ... Played club soccer for ECNL, where she was a member of the North Atlantic Regional Champions and Jeff Cup Champions in 2021. 

Personal: Daughter of Natacha Blain and Fred Hargrove ... One sister, Bernadette, who plays soccer at Wellesley College ... Member of National Honors Society and Specialty Communication and Arts Program.
