OWINGS MILLS, Md. – Loyola Univeristy Maryland men's tennis swept Stevenson University on Thursday afternoon, knocking off the host Mustangs, 7-0.
Nick Haggar and
Nick Lawliss led off at No. 1 doubles with a 6-3 win over Larry Johnson III and JJ Bonta.
Matt Cardano and
Oliver Davey were 6-1 winners against Lukas Sanidas and Simeon Smith at No. 2, and
Tyler Mast paired with
Jorge Quintana to beat Chad Smialek and Nathan Davidson, 6-1, at No. 3.
Cardano topped Johnson, 6-0, 6-0, at No. 1 singles, and Davey won by the same shutout score over Bonta at No. 2. Lawliss knocked off Sanidas, 6-2, 6-0, at No. 3, and
Dylan Koziol won, 6-0, 6-0, against Smialek at No. 4.
George Bulger shutout Smith, 6-0, 6-0 at No. 5, and
Gustavo Rotundo beat Davidson, 6-2, 6-1 at No. 6.
