- Loyola scored the next five to get within two on a Caitlin Churney kill, but that was as close as the Greyhounds would get as Army West Point scored the next three points.

- Five-straight points by the Black Knights stretched a 9-7 lead to a 14-7 advantage.
- Loyola got within four, 17-13, with a Lauren Link kill, but Army West Point went on to win the set for a 2-0 lead.
