Lauryn Clarke broke her own school record in the 60 meters on Friday night, advancing to the semifinals of the event at the Penn State National Invitational.
The sophomore ran 7.60 seconds in the semifinals to finish 10th overall and break her previous school best of 7.64 seconds set last month at the Rutgers Holiday Classic.
Earlier in the day, Clarke ran 7.65 seconds in the first round of the 60 to reach the semifinals. That time is tied for third-best in school history; she now owns four of the five fastest 60-meter times in school indoor history.
