EASTON, Pa. – The Loyola University Maryland women's cross country team took ninth, and the men were 10
th, on Saturday at the 2024 Patriot League Championships.
Isabella Coleman had the top individual finish of the day for the Greyhounds, finishing 42
nd to lead the women's team with a time of 22:07.3 on the 6,000-meter course.
Maeve Lowther was the next finisher across the line for the women, crossing in 57
th place (22:38.3), just ahead of
Norah Affanato's 22:56.7 for 67
th.
Kiera Udell took 76
th (23:16.6), and
Kasey Boag rounded out Loyola's scoring in 23:19.0 for 80
th.
Kayla Hayes (95
th, 24:06.2),
Meghan Leonard (99
th, 24:17.6) and
Mackenzie Newman (100
th, 24:18.5) were next across the line for the Loyola women;
Kat Zysk (105

Dennis McNamara led the Loyola men for the first time in his career, moving up 10 spots in the last mile of the 8,000-meter course for a 55
th-place finish in 25:29.4.
Mikey Byrnes came across the line in 78

Christian Zawislack finished his first Patriot League meet in 93
rd by running 26:37.9.
Evan Alander completed the scoring for the Greyhounds in 97

The Greyhounds will run again on Friday, November 15, at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional in State College, Pennsylvania.
