BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Loyola University Maryland's Matt Cardano became the second player in men's tennis program history to earn All-Patriot League honors on Monday when he was named to the conference's second team by a vote of the League's coaches.

Cardano was named the team's Most Valuable Player this season after leading the team with a 15-10 record in singles that came on the No. 1 line for the Greyhounds.

The two-time Academic All-Patriot League honoree also went 3-2 in Patriot League play, as well in singles action.

Cardano joins Blest Jones (2017) as the only player from Loyola to earn All-Patriot League honors since the Greyhounds joined the conference in 2013-14.
